Victim of three crimes in one day

The continuous crime increase that eMalahleni is experiencing for a long time is getting worse by the day as another resident became a victim of not one but three crimes.

On June 29, a resident from Siyanqoba arrived home.

He entered his yard when two armed suspects allegedly overpowered him and started to become violent.

One of the armed suspects pulled the trigger of the firearm and shot the victim.

On the SAPS’ arrival, they found that the victim was already transported to a nearby hospital because of his injury that was caused by the shooting.

As a statement was taken from the victim in the hospital he alleged that the two armed robbers just let loose and shot him before they fled the scene with his vehicle, laptop and other valuables.

A case of attempted murder and hijacking was opened at Witbank Police Station but no suspects were arrested.

The case is being investigated.
