Jovial July for Birthday Blessers
The ladies are remaining positive and motivated to be able to continue soon with their mission in orphan and underprivileged children’s lives.

The ladies did it again with a cheerful ‘drop-off’ birthday party in July.
The Birthday Blessers duo Maureen Scheepers and Nadine van Schalkwyk hosted their last ‘drop-off’ birthday party on July 10.

The ‘blessers’ announced on their social media page that they would be closing temporarily due to the extended Level 4 regulations that restrict gatherings.
“After our July drop-off party, we are officially closed until further notice due to the covid regulations. We need to be responsible in these times and have decided that it would be in the best interest of the children and ourselves to not host any parties until the third wave cases have subsided. We thank everyone for their ongoing support of this project. Furthermore, we will post an update on our Facebook page as soon as it is safe to re-open the project and start hosting parties again,” Scheepers said.
The last drop-off party was given to a little girl that celebrated her sixth birthday in the Central Business District (CBD) of eMalahleni.
“It was a very special day, and we are happy that we managed to give her a birthday party during these trying times of the pandemic,” Scheepers told WITBANK NEWS.
The ladies are remaining positive and motivated to be able to continue soon with their mission in orphan and underprivileged children’s lives.
“It’s so important to make an impact in children’s lives. These children have gone through so much in their short lives. Making their birthday wishes come true once a year is a privilege, to be a part of their good memories and leave a mark of love and joy,” Van Schalkwyk added.
The Birthday Blessers urge the community to stay safe and comply with all the Level 4 lockdown regulations. “The sooner the level is adjusted, the sooner we can continue to make underprivileged children’s wishes come true, one birthday at a time,” Scheepers concluded.
