Khanyisile using social media as a tool to help young people

She also mentions that she would like to go into the private management industry, which just shows that she has many tricks up her sleeve.

Sometimes young people go through many challenges and find it hard to express themselves.

A young local creative, Khanyisile Kanye took a stand and decided to use social media as a tool to express herself and to hopefully help other young people.

The 21-year-old is not only an upcoming social media influencer; she also recently graduated at Centurion Academy for a diploma in Structural Steel Detailing.

Khanyisile began her YouTube channel in August 2020 and her channel has over 120 subscribers. Her first video reached 203 views and continues to grow. The channel mainly focuses on faith, lifestyle and has an element of fun as she challenges her loved ones.

Khanyisile said that the main reason why she started a channel is that she wanted to help people to deal with the problems they face by offering faith-based advice.

The eMalahleni-born creative is an intern at BukhoBuhle Achitects where she helps with the designs and architecture.

She also mentions that she would like to go into the private management industry, which just shows that she has many tricks up her sleeve.

“I want to touch lives through my channel and give people in my community hope,” said Khanyisile. “I see myself reaching 50 000 subscribers in the next five years.”

She added that she also overcame difficulties in her life through the help of God and prayer, so her videos are based on experiences.

Khanyisile wishes to use social media as a tool to spread the word of God and also encourage young people.
