Charlene is ready to hand over her crown

The Miss and Mrs Witbank title is an original title and the first crowing of this prestigious title took place back in 1947

The very beautiful Ms Charlene Janse van Rensburg, who is the current community ambassador, is ready to hand over her crown.

Due to Covid-19 lockdown regulations, the entry and pageant process was somewhat slightly changed and adapted; this year hopefuls can apply online.

“The search is on for our new Queen of eMalahleni, Miss and Mrs Pearl of the Highveld and Miss and Mrs Witbank,” said Mr Andries du Preez who is a legend in the beauty pageant world.

The Miss and Mrs Witbank title is an original title and the first crowing of this prestigious title took place back in 1947.

If you are between the ages 26 and 60 years old, a mother, married, divorced or widowed, you can compete for Charlene’s crown.

The other categories are: Little Miss 6 ‒ 9 years, Junior Miss 10 ‒ 13 years, Miss Teen 14 ‒ 17 years, and Miss 18 – 25 years.

It is so easy to enter.

Visit and ‘like’ the Miss and Mrs Witbank Facebook page. Download the entry form, pinned to the top of the page, complete and submit it with a copy of your ID, birth certificate and a clear colour photo of your face.

This pageant is open to any female residing in Emalahleni Local Municipality.

The closing date is August 7.

Semi-finalists will be contacted for online interviews whereupon finalists to be announced virtually by middle August.

The 2021 crowning will be scheduled for October.
