Seriti hands over food parcels to child-headed families in Rietspruit

The children showed their appreciation as the parcels will help them

As Nelson Mandela Month came to an end, gifts came in for community members in Rietspruit.

Seriti responded to the call by the founding father of our democracy, Nelson Mandela, to take care of those in need.

The team made efforts to hand out care packs to the elderly and also donated food hampers to child-headed households Rietspruit community.

Mandisa Khoza, cllr Thembi Shabalala, Pinkie Mahlangu, Simamukele Feni, Nontobeko Feni and Rejoice Phiri.

The Seriti team reached out to orphaned children, living on their own, by lending a helping hand and supporting them with the much-needed food parcels.

This was done in close collaboration with the community representatives who assisted with the process of identifying the child-headed and the elderly households.

The children showed their appreciation as the parcels will help them.
