Two vehicles in eMalahleni stolen in broad daylight

Vehicle crime is constantly rising with criminals constantly coming up with new methods of stealing cars, breaking into cars and hijacking motorists.

Having a car stolen can be an inconvenience especially if it is your only way of getting to work and back.

 

On Tuesday, November 2 at approximately 06:00 the complainant alleged that he was at work when his bakkie was parked in the parking lot. 

One of the other employees said he was just going to use the vehicle quickly.

 

Stolen vehicle found but lost

 

When he returned to his vehicle, a white Hilux bakkie, it was no longer there. 

A case of theft of a motor vehicle was opened at Witbank Police Station. 

 

Vehicles stolen in various house robberies

 

In another incident that occurred in Klarinet on Thursday, October 28. 

The complainant alleged that he advertised a Toyota Tazz on a social media page.

 

He then received a call from a potential buyer and said that they are interested in purchasing the vehicle for his child and two of his employees would come to take a look at the vehicle. 

It was then agreed that the two employees would meet the seller. 

After a while, the employees contacted the buyer and told him that the vehicle was in a good condition. 

The buyer then transferred the money to the seller.

Once the buyer sent the proof that the money was transferred the vehicle and car papers were handed over.

 

The seller then checked his bank account and found that the money was not in his bank account. 

A case of car theft was opened at Witbank Police Station.
