Venancio’s passion recognised by other artists
The self-taught artist has been more interested in more defined portraits of people and animals
Local artist Venancio Matsinhe has been improving his skills and challenging himself to draw more complicated drawings.
The self-taught artist has been more interested in more defined portraits of people and animals.

Matsinhe says that he developed his love for drawing in 2008 when he drew cartoons that were mostly watched by his brother.
This very creative artist, who is 25-years old, specialises in pencil drawings and has made life-like drawings of portraits of people including well-known singer Busisiwe Thwala who is also known as Cici.

He established his business which is called ‘IT’s ALL ArT’ in 2015.
“Over the past years I’ve learned that if I listen to what people say, whether good or bad, I can learn something significant to add to my gift. Some of my best teachers are people who can’t draw. I was encouraged to keep on drawing last year after Cici saw my artwork and said she wanted to have it,” added Matsinhe.
The young creative has drawn over seven artworks and wants to challenge himself even further.
