House robberies are increasing by the day in eMalahleni and are nothing new to the residents, but imagine waking up to the faces of two armed robbers – one with a firearm and another with a sharp object…
This was the nightmare for a resident in the early hours of March 2, when she was allegedly woken up by two intruders, while her husband was at work.
It’s believed that the victim, that resides in the Reyno Ridge area, was alone at home with her children when two suspected robbers entered their home.
It’s further alleged that the two suspects covered the victim with a blanket while roaming the rooms in her house for valuables.
After a while, the victim heard that everything went quiet and rushed to her children’s room, luckily the children were found unharmed.
The suspects fled the scene with all valuable items in the family home.
No arrests have been made.
