Ga-Nala and Thubelihle with no power since yesterday

Please Note: Power Outages – Ga-Nala and Thubelihle

The power outage that has been experienced since yesterday, March, 18 affecting Ga-Nala and Thubelihle is due to a failure of two (2) 10 MVA transformers on the Eskom network.

The power outage will have a negative effect on the provision of water supply as no water processing is currently being done including sewer purification.

Further information will be provided based on progress received from Eskom and the Emalahleni Local Municipality.
