Local anglers pull out over 300 fish in a week

Specimen Junkies were placed fourth overall at the World Carp Classic South Africa Qualifier

Carp angling is the new trend and many more people have started taking up this sport to see the biggest Carp that can be caught.

Recently three local anglers from eMalahleni took part in the World Carp Classic South Africa Qualifier.

The competition took place from Saturday, March 12 until Friday, March 18 at Roodekoppies Dam.

Paul Prinsloo who is the team captain entered his team under the name Specimen Junkies and they did extremely well.

“We can not wait and we will start our preparations for the 2023 World Carp Classics SA qualifier… Its just leke Carp fishing,” said Paul.
