Walking billboard Thabo can help you solve your X

Walking billboard brings a new take to advertising.

Solving maths equations can sometimes become tricky for parents, but that is something that Thabo Mahlangu is willing to assist with.

The eMalahleni-born tutor decided to take tutoring to a new level by getting his next clients at the parking lot. Thabo has created his own mini-billboard to attract customers who are coming in and out of shopping centres.

He believes that this concept is working well for him as he has managed to get a lot of parents who seek assistance for their children. Most of his clients are referred by old clients, so he decided to use himself as an extra marketing tool.

“I decided to make this board because I could not afford to pay for a billboard. I believe that it was a great idea to create it as it is affordable and efficient. I want the whole community to know about my tutoring classes,” added Thabo.

Thabo studied mechanical engineering in 2016, but unfortunately could not go back to school after his father passed away in 2017.

He decided to come back and make a difference in other children’s lives. He started tutoring at Master Maths.

“Some of my students say that they wish that I could become their maths and science teacher at their schools. One of my other learners, who was in primary school managed to pass their grade after having a hectic first term and second term in school. Ever since I started advertising myself at shopping centres, I have attracted double the amount of clients that I normally do on social media,” concluded Thabo.

To date, Thabo has tutored over 80 students and a lot of them have improved in their mathematics marks.

Thabo holds one-on-one classes with his students and his prices are affordable.
