Hard work pays off for law enforcement officers

The promotion of two law enforcement officers brings hope to the organisation

Emalahleni Council Speaker Cllr Mduduzi Nkosi congratulated members of law enforcement for their dedication to their work and said that it will bear fruit in the long run.

This was said during the promotion of two officers to his office as an internal promotion.

Officers Miriam Masemola and Dennis Mavuso; the pair was recently promoted to the office of the speaker.

Members of the union also attended the event and thanked the speaker’s office for the promotion.

The promoted two officers are officer Dennis Mavuso and officer Miriam Masemola.

Nkosi thanked the management of law enforcement and said that the two officers are to be celebrated because it means a lot growing together.

“This will open doors for others showing that respecting seniors and being disciplined in your work pays off. Your character in your work and your service to the community resulted in the promotion, even though the internal process followed was not an easy one”.

Cllr Nkosi said the officers are a motivation to others to follow suit and will make bringing service to the local community.

Brigadier Delisiwe Motha said the promotion will boost the organisation and that the officers must make sure to always keep the standards high.

She said even though they will now be working in the office of the speaker they were not politicians and they remain police officers.

She also encouraged them to stand strong as they will meet challenges along the way and was happy about the changes.

She urged the office of the speaker to take good care of the pair.

Messages of support were also received from other stakeholders and the officers were told to keep up the good work.
