Murder in Old Coronation leaves community in shock
The case was postponed for further investigation.
A 31-year-old man appeared in Witbank Magistrate Court today on a charge of murder.
The man was arrested on May 2.
This arrest follows a brutal murder on April 30.
“The suspect allegedly stabbed a 40-year-old woman to death with a beer bottle,” Captain Eddie Hall, local police spokesperson said.
Hall said the woman was severely assaulted and she had stab wounds in her face and body.
