The love for motorbikes at a young age

A special day was arranged for two little girls by Willie Grant

Most small children are fascinated by motorbikes and by the sound they make when they are revved.

Two little girls in eMalahleni are exceptionally fascinated by motorbikes and their mother Mari-Louise Groenewald was wondering how she could make their dreams come true by seeing a couple of motorbikes together.

“My daughter’s love for motorbikes all started whenever they see the delivery scooter or motorbike,” said Mari-Louise.

Mari-Louise then went onto Facebook and asked around where she could take her daughters Miané Groenewald (3) and Amorey Groenewald (1) to see different motorbikes.

“Often when I stop at a traffic light with the girls in the car and a motorbike pulls up next to me, I would ask the biker to rev his bike and the girls go absolutely mad when they hear the noise,” said Mari-Louise.

That is when Willie Grant, the president from Wheels in the Sky got hold of Mari-Louise and told her about the special day he would arrange for the girls.

Various motorbike clubs got together at the petrol station at N4 Business Park on Saturday afternoon, April 30.

Once the group was together they ride down to Cathalino’z where Miané and Amorey were waiting for their surprise arrival.

When the bikes started to arrive at Cathalino’z, Miané and Amorey were overwhelmed at first.

All the bikers got together to surprise the two little girls with their motorbikes on Saturday, April 30.

Once they realised what just happened, they were very eager to have photos taken on the various motorbikes.

They also received various gifts from all the different bike clubs that attended the day.

“The girls really enjoyed the day so much. It was such a special day for them. Now they just want to see the bikes every day,” said Mari-Louise.
