Rialet knows the game far too well
Rialet is known as ‘Flower’ in the gaming world, yet her talent is pure tough.
The world of gaming has become one of the most captivating and mind blowing spaces. With people joining every day, you are bound to climb the ladder to success in gaming.
Hoër Tegniese Skool (HTS) has one of the countries’ best players ‒ Rialet van Jaarsveld. The grade 12 scholar has been representing her school and community.
She and her group members called the Reacce Fe participated in the Girl Gamer League Final Playoffs. The competition was held between June 24 and June 26 and they came out stronger than ever before.
Rialet is known as ‘Flower’ in the gaming world, yet her talent is pure tough.
“When she was small and still in primary school, she started to play with and against her brothers in games of Counter strike Global offence. In high school, she was noticed by her gaming team managers and was approached to start gaming professionally,” said Marianda van Jaarsveld, Rialet’s mother.
Marianda also stated that most of their competitions take place online and the Reacce Fe girls are really doing well. Rialet puts in all the work as she practises every day for at least three hours with her team.
The Girl Gamer e-sports festival online matches started a month ago and the team had to play against a lot of teams. During May, they also participated in the ESport Insider (ESL) Impact competition and came second.
Rialet was one of the players chosen for her team to participate. They won their first match against Kittens team in the semi-finals. In the ‘best of one’ game, they won ATK 16-4 and that meant that they were in the finals. The girls unfortunately lost their last game, yet they had gone very far in the competition as they came second in the country.
Had they won the last match, the girls would have been afforded the opportunity to compete in Dubai.
