Notepad Poetry celebrates Women’s month

The ninth ‘Dry Sessions’ showcases talent in the city.

Notepad Poetry, a creative writing and performance media house, hosted the ninth edition of the favourite live poetry and music event in honour of Women’s month.

On Saturday, August 27, a tribute to women in creative writing and performances was held at Boerelicious Café, featuring top female poets and musicians.

The ladies took the stage to perform under the slogan “Dry are the words, until they are dipped in poetry” ‒ Lots of talent was showcased at the event. On behalf of Notepad Poetry, Africa Zwelibanzi said, “One last Saturday dedicated to women in creative writing and performance. We got together for this poetic occasion, and none of it would be possible without you.”

“Thank you to the team for putting such a lovely event, and to the performers for bringing their A+ game as usual,” he added.
