Robert Carruthers School’s u.13 boys’ cricket team is up and running

The team ran into victory against Laerskool Onverwacht with abilities shining as bright as the first day of spring.

The cricket team faced Laerskool Onverwacht on the field at the beginning of September and ‘ran’ away with the match.

The match took place at Robert Carruthers School (RCS) on September 1, and the team’s playing abilities were as bright as the first day of spring.

RCS gave Laerskool Onverwacht’s team a run for its ‘bats’ with an outstanding victory by 54 runs.

The final scores were 118/10 for RCS and 64/10 for Laerskool Onverwacht. Coach for the team, Mr Beau Range, is proud and congratulates the man of the match, Devan Marrie.

The team not only walked off the field as victors for the match, but also ‘ran’ into the second position in the Nkangala u.13 B division.

Competing schools should watch out because nothing can stop the RCS team from running away with the competition.
