Businesses in eMalahleni is gaining strength day by day.

An initiative that started two years ago shows that good customer service is the answer to any business’s success story.

A beautiful logo and eye-catching business cards do not make a business successful.

Boitumelo Madiba and Kobus du Plessis, who accepted the award for the best car dealership that was awarded to Bidvest McCarthy VW.

Mr Boitumelo Madiba, who is the driving force behind the 2022 Emalahleni Business Awards said unless your logo and business card are backed with an intrinsic value that makes the customers you interact with feel special, you are failing miserably in the world-class customer service category.

Boitumelo Madiba and Rocky Moolman accepted the award for the best butchery that was awarded to Meat & Fish City.

The winners of the awards were voted for by the residents of eMalahleni.

Boitumelo Madiba and David Mpanyana accepted the award for the best electrical wholesaler that was awarded to ACDC Express.

“We wanted to know how they find their interaction with businesses, brands and individuals in our community and they nominated those they deemed worthy to be recognised,” Boitumelo said.

Boitumelo Madiba and Dudu Gwili, who accepted the award for the best estate agency that was awarded to Rawson Properties.

The answer to the question ‘why have these awards?’ was answered by Boitumelo, “We want to encourage businesses, individuals and brands to step-change their customer service programmes with the eMalahleni business community.”

Boitumelo Madiba, Christelle Fouché and Chris Coetzee, who accepted the award for the best filling station that was awarded to Engen Broadway.

Mr Dimitri Georgandonis, owner of Saveways Super Spar was announced businessman of the year and some of the comments left on Emalahleni Community’s Facebook after the awards are that Saveways Super Spar is the best Spar in the country.

Boitumelo Madiba and Lucky Nkosi, who accepted the award for the best gym that was awarded to Lifestyle Pinnacle.

“All glory to God for He has blessed me with an amazing team,” Dimitri said.

Boitumelo Madiba and Sonja Coetzee, who accepted the award for the best kindergarten that was awarded to SAVF Wonderland.

“I would also like to thank all the sponsors the residents of eMalahleni, let’s stand united and serve each other with honest integrity and humility,” said Dimitri.

Boitumelo Madiba and Ursula Ntuli, who accepted the award for the best legal firm that was awarded to Ursula Ntuli Attorneys.

Bidvest McCarthy Volkswagen won the car dealership of the year award.

Mr Kobus du Plessis, dealer principal at Bidvest McCarthy Volkswagen, thanked everyone for voting and complimented the attendees with these words, “In front of me is a business force to be reckoned with. It is a pleasure to do business in eMalahleni.”
