Robbery suspect caught in his tracks in Tasbet Park
The suspected robber got more than what he bargained for.
An alleged robber tried his luck in Tasbet Park recently where he was caught inside the roof of a residential home in Toerien Street.
The suspect allegedly disconnected the electric fence to gain entry from a sidewall.
Once the man was caught on the roof trying to break into the home, he fled on foot to a neighbouring street where he jumped over a random fence to evade the police and private security.
Once the police caught up with the suspect, he was pretending to act normal and picked fruit casually.
The suspect has been taken into custody. Witbank Police are investigating.
