Learners awarded for outstanding achievements

As a result of their diligence and perseverance throughout 2022.

Last week nine primary school learners at Robert Carruthers School were recognised for their academic success and dedication.

*Christian Baloyi received the Johan Woest Trophy for the highest academic achievement in Grade 1.

*Evadine Stander received the Felicity du Plessis Trophy for the highest academic achievement in Grade 2.

These are not students who excel solely in academics; they also make the most in sports or culture:

*Hendriete Lourie was awarded the Debbie Rolfe Trophy for the highest academic achievement in Grade 3 as well as the Westley Floating Trophy for Sportswoman of the Year.

*Lwandle Mlambo was awarded the Westley Floating Trophy for Sportsman of the Year.

*Al-Imaan Rispel received the Kersten Floating Trophy for the child who participated in the most items at the Artium Arts Festival and who achieved the highest results.
