Residents have recently reported having problems with their prepaid electricity boxes when entering the provided pin.

The meter box would give an error code and will not allow the units to load. Here is what you need to know.

You will need a set of three token numbers to complete the conversion of your meter.

If your meter is not loading the new units and you only got one token number then it means you need to contact the council prepaid help desk: 013 690 6428/7/966

If you buy electricity, enter the token into your meter and the meter does not load with your new units it means your meter is ready to be converted.

If you buy electricity, enter the token number into your meter and the meter is then loaded with your new units, it means your meter is not ready to be converted.

You will need a set of three token numbers to complete the conversion of your meter.
