Eleven-year-old succumbs after hit-and-run

Witbank Police are looking for the driver of a white double-cab bakkie involved in a hit-and-run accident.

An eleven-year-old girl was declared dead after she was allegedly hit by a white double cab bakkie.

The bakkie’s driver is accused of failing to stop following the accident.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Paxton Road around 18:25 on Monday, November 21.

According to witnesses, the girl was crossing the street when the bakkie struck her.
