Bokkie was strangled reveals autopsy report

Post-mortem shows the five-year-old was strangled.

The post-mortem done on five-year-old Shaudino (Bokkie) Padda showed that he was strangled.

Bokkie was buried in Philippolis in the Free State on Saturday, December 3.

“Bokkie is with my family now,” said Ms Marlies Jan, Bokkie’s mother.

“One day when it is my time to go, I want to be laid down to rest next to my boy.”

The little boy was reported missing when his mom returned home after work on Monday, November 21.

She discovered that some of her clothes were missing from a cupboard and she also noticed a pile of dirty clothes from her son on the floor.

A full-scale search for Bokkie started soon afterwards.

Bokkie was found close to King George Park in the central business district on November 23. His lifeless body was covered with his jersey and sand.

Bokkie was with his father the weekend of his disappearance.

His father committed suicide the day before his son was found.
