Phola residents and surrounding areas are being targeted by two scammers
Residents should be aware of two suspects scamming victims out of their cell phones.
Phola Station Commander Lt. Col. Frederik Viviers is warning residents to be on the lookout for two suspects, a man and a woman, scamming people by holding onto unsuspecting victims’ cell phones under false pretences.
Victims have described the male suspect as having two scars on his right cheek and one on the right ear.
He is said to be aged between 30 and 40 years old and driving a Silver VW Polo.
Residents are advised to contact 013 643 8601 or 076 605 4760 with any information they might have to help apprehend these culprits.
