Executive Mayor of Emalahleni Local Municipality launches campaign to take the wheel on road safety against accidents

The campaign was launched on December 15, with the Executive Mayor and Arrive Alive representatives dressed for the traffic action.

The Executive Mayor of Emalahleni Local Municipality, Councillor Connie Nkalitshana, launched an Arrive Alive campaign on December 15 to reduce accidents on the road.

The mayor said the campaign raises awareness by teaching commuters and drivers about arriving safely at the destination they are travelling to and what they should do concerning road safety.

Amongst others, the mayor thanked her staff and the national Department of Transport for supporting the initiative.

In closing, she said they wish everyone travelling in all parts of the country safe travels.
