A newborn baby was found dead at a dumpsite near Paxton.

Mr Hendrik Spies said he received a call from a security guard at around 12:30 on Monday, December 19 who informed him that a newborn baby had been found.

Upon arrival, he saw that the baby was deceased and called emergency personnel. “We struggled to get the police on site. I then phoned Clr Kim Faduk who managed to get hold of the police who took over the crime scene,” Spies said.
