Man’s body found
The search for Henk ended a little while ago when his body was found.
Henk Heyns has been found.
Police divers found his body a few kilometres away from where he was swept away by the rushing Olifants River on December 27.
Henk was fishing when the accident happened.
“Our sincere condolences go out to the family. We are all emotional, and we are with the family, ” said Mr Tommie Potgieter from the South African Community Crime Watch Volunteer Fire and Rescue group.
The family asked for privacy to come to terms with the tragedy.
