Madressa Orphanage in urgent need of help!

A local orphanage is seeking any kind of donation to help children in need.

Any contribution Madressa Orphanage could help develop future leaders.

The orphanage is requesting clothing, food, and winter blankets to help needy children.

Madressa Orphanage is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) that houses and given food to over 80 formerly homeless children.

Sontoyi Nyembezi, the current Mrs Africa Classic 2023 second princess, created and founded it.

She explained, “We now have seven newborn babies who were brought here to the orphanage after they had been abandoned by their parents. The challenge that wê are facing is that the babies are taking formula milk and using Pampers, which is why we require donations of nappies, formula milk, winter clothes, and blankets.”

She also stated that she is unable to return the babies since she does not know who to give them to. She attempted to speak with their moms’ family members, but no one was willing to help or care.

She informed those families that because they didn’t want anything to do with these babies, they should never return to look for them.

Some of the mothers are from KwaZulu-Natal, Bushbuck Ridge and eMalahleni.

“I believe those abandoned babies deserve to be well taken care of, and they all have a bright future ahead of them. A child is a gift from God, no matter how they come out, planned or unplanned,” she concluded.

There are a few options for donating. To begin, you can call Madressa Orphanage on 082 045 0084 to learn more about their specific needs and how you can help.
