Homeless get a real treat during make-over
Three churches took part in helping the homeless.
How do you show kindness and humanity?
Well, when you are from New Life Church, Metamorpha Church and Impactus Church you go to where the need is the greatest and give the homeless a shower, shave, nail grooming, some clothes, hygiene packs and a nice warm meal.
On Saturday, June 3 the homeless were treated at King George’s Park.
“This is truly what we are called to be ‒ the hands and feet of Jesus and to love people,” said Ms Tammy de Oliveira, organiser of the outreach.
A station where CVs were prepared was also busy as the homeless queued up to get their CVs done.
“We are so grateful that we could have this opportunity and for every person that gave their time and resources to make this day a success,” Tammy said.
