Fighting drug abuse and addiction in Phola
A special prayer session for young people who are addicted to drugs.
The Kingdom Generation Church, in partnership with SoGutjhe Royal House, recently celebrated Youth Month by hosting a special prayer session for young people struggling with drug addiction.
The event was held at the Ntandweni Church on Saturday, June 24, and aimed to provide support and guidance to those who are battling addiction.
“We want our children to know that we love them just as they are. As a church, we are not perfect, which is why we want them to know we still care and we all have faults,” said Pastor DJ Mofokeng.
The prayer session was attended by young people from all walks of life who came together to seek solace and guidance through prayer.
The event was led by experienced pastors who offered words of encouragement and hope to those in attendance.
Recovering members of the community motivated young people to stay clean and not give up; there is hope for a better life.
Ndabezitha Sipho SoMbali Mahlangu said, “We are pleading with the private sector to support organisations fighting against drug abuse; we cannot do it alone.”
Through this initiative, all stakeholders who were present wanted to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction while providing a supportive community for those struggling with it.
They believe that through faith and perseverance, anyone can overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
