Former Mayor Clr Nkalitshana fulfilling service delivery till the end

In a heart-warming display of civic duty, a former Emalahleni Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Clr Conny Nkalitshana, in collaboration with the Roads Department, has taken it upon themselves to patch up potholes at local taxi ranks.

 

Clr Nkalitshana and her staff have been observed across the city with a shovel and some asphalt, filling in dangerous potholes that have been causing damage to taxis and posing danger to passengers.

 

On Friday, June 23, former Emalahleni Local Municipality Executive Mayor Clr Conny Nkalitshana and her team were patching potholes in the short-distance taxi ranks.

The goal was to reduce the backlog of roads that needed to be repaired, so crews patched potholes in Duvha Park and the downtown short-distance taxi rank on Friday, June 23.

Local taxi drivers are already benefiting from smoother rides and lower risk of vehicle damage as a result of these upgrades.
