Schools need intervention says Pastor Ignatius Mahlangu

Pastor Ignatius shares his opinion about the schooling system.

Pastor Ignatius Mahlangu of Emalahleni Men of Destiny says the situations at schools cannot be untolerated, he pointed out that schools are not a dustbin or a boxing arena.

He urged all parents, organisation and individuals concern to stand up and fight against the spirit which is destroying schools.

“Schools is parents institution not for any individual, the people who have the power to govern schools are the parents not the undisciplined parents who wants to promote the worthy their children but parents who know and understand the importance of schools in the lives of our children,” says Pastor Mahlangu.

Pastor Mahlangu says the cause of the situation prevailing at schools is the government under the department of education because of the laws and procedures.

He says the government chased God away yet the children are creation and spiritual beings.

He pointed out that children are blessings from God; and that God gave us only one thing of raising a child, his word.

“Proverbs 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him. This is the only way God gave us to discipline our children both at homes and at schools, but unrighteous people who serves in our government legalise laws that are against the word God. Teachers are working under pressure and treads because our foolish children who do not understand the importance of education,” complained Pastor Mahlangu.

Pastor Mahlangu also says that he is 60 years old was once a child and a learner who grew during apartheid and learned under corporal punishment.

He is complaining about children of today under the government live the way they like and parents have no control and the teachers have no power over learners.

Also those innocent children live under fear at schools because of naughty children.

Pastor Mahlangu also complains of lack of parenting and urged all men and fathers to became responsible and be in the life of their children.

He urged fathers to reconcile with their children and declare the month of August a reconciliation month.

Pastor Mahlangu says as an organisation they condemn the spirit of family violence, domestic violence, children abuse teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse which are the biggest problem in the society.

They urged parents to stand up and protect their children.

“Lets promote the spirit of adoption, let no child live under abuse rejection and poverty. The issue of gangsterism must come to an end, what we saw at Greendale must come to an end. The department should give schools in the hands of the parents, these are our children, we are the people who are to account before God,” concluded Pastor Mahlangu
