Phola Police and CPF launch crime prevention structure at Wilge, Ogies
This comes after residents experienced a high number of burglaries in the area.

In efforts to curb the alarming rate of burglaries in the area, Phola Police in conjunction with the Community Policing Forum launched Wilge Sub-Sector Crime Forum.
The police and CPF invited residents to a community meeting at Sibongindawo Primary School.

On Sunday, September 3 Phola Police Communications Official and Community Police Officer (CPO) Sergeant Petros Ntuli, Sector Commander Sergeant Mojalefa Manaka, and CPF Secretary Mrs Gabisile Ndakisa organised and planned the meeting and launch of the forum.
Sergeant Petros Ntuli said the purpose of the launch was influenced by the residents who frequently experience burglaries.

“As a result, they requested the police and the CPF to assist them to formulate a structure that will work hand in hand with the police and the CPF to address all criminal activities that are happening around,” Ntuli said.
He concluded by saying the police and CPF successfully launched the structure, which comprised nine members who were elected.
