Noluthando grabs dual titles at Face of Devotion South Africa pageant

Noluthando Mbowane recently bagged the titles of Face of Devotion, South Africa's First Princess, and Mpumalanga Ambassador.

Noluthando Mbowane (18) was recently crowned Face of Devotion South Africa First Princess and Mpumalanga’s Ambassador.

Noluthando expressed her excitement at winning the titles, “I was overjoyed in winning those titles, and it was mixed positive emotions all over.”

Noluthando emphasised her unwavering determination while navigating a challenging field against representatives from five other provinces, each boasting their provincial title winners.

“My dedication and commitment to the title race were immense. I was the only one from Mpumalanga competing against five other provinces, each with their provincial title winners.”

She added she had many sleepless nights as she made use of every opportunity she got, completing tasks given to her to move forward.

Overcoming personal reservations, Noluthando revealed, “I had to overcome my fear of being reserved and get out of my comfort zone.”

This transformative experience has fuelled her motivation to embrace leadership, setting the course for a continued inspiring journey.

Expressing gratitude for her support system, Noluthando acknowledged the pivotal role of her mother, Nomthandazo Vilane, her modelling director, Mmabatho Mashego, and the extended family who stood by her throughout the journey.

Offering advice to those aspiring to follow in her footsteps, Noluthando encouraged, “Work hard, and make use of every opportunity you get, take it a step at a time, even if it fails to achieve that goal, keep trying, and have faith in you.”

Looking ahead, Noluthando eagerly anticipates the launch of her clothing brand, Ivyxxsworld Outfitters, next year.

“I’m very excited to start launching my clothing brand next year, as it is a great project for me to start on,” Noluthando concluded.
