Still no sign of Kamlesh Singh after two weeks

Kamlesh Singh was abducted in Corridor Hill on Wednesday, January 10.

Local businessman, Kamlesh Singh, remains missing, with no trace since the kidnapping incident at Corridor Hill.

Singh reportedly fell victim to a kidnapping on Wednesday, January 10.

According to Provincial Police Spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli, Singh received a call on Tuesday, January 9, about an alleged electrical fault at his business.

“The call that Singh received was from an unknown person who identified himself as a technician from Emalahleni Local Municipality assigned to check an electrical fault at his business,” said Mdhluli.

Singh responded to the so-called ‘appointment’ by arriving at the business site the following morning.

Around 08:20, three suspects in a grey Ford Kuga with cloned registration numbers approached Singh.

Two armed men, their faces concealed with balaclavas, forced Singh into the vehicle, which then headed towards Ga-Nala, leaving his car behind.
