Reward for return of laptop and hard drives

A local photographer has a reward for anybody with information about his hard drives and laptop that was stolen on January 24.

Local photographer Donovan Roets is urgently looking for two hard drives and a laptop that was stolen out of his car last week.

“I stepped into a shop at Saveways Centre and within minutes my car remote was jammed and my laptop and two hard drives were stolen,” Donovan said.

Video footage shows how a group of men stands not far from Donovan’s EcoSport and seconds after he locks his car, one man nonchalantly opens the car door and takes the laptop bag out.

This happened on January 24 between 16:30 and 16:35.

Donovan said there is a reward for the return of the Dell Laptop with serial number 300 020 052 62 and the two hard drives.

Donovan can be reached on 082 620 9745.

WITBANK NEWS reached out to Saveways Centre Management for comment,  but have yet to hear back.
