President Cryril Ramaphosa will be visiting in eMalahleni next week

The president will host the District Development Model Presidential Imbizo on Thursday, March 7 in Lynnville.

Have you seen any improvements in eMalahleni over the past week?

Like potholes patching and maintenance seem to be at the top of the local municipality’s agenda?

But why is that one may ask themselves, is it because the Emalahleni Local Municipality finally heard the outcries of tax-paying residents and finally decided to deliver basic services?

Unfortunately, that is not the case if you come across a road closure, or those long-standing potholes that you have by now learned how to duck being patched, that’s because of the upcoming presidential visit.

Residents from the Nkangala District are invited to the District Development Model (DDM) Presidential Imbizo.

The Republic of South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa will host the Imbizo which aims to bring together leaders from all three spheres of government.

eMalahleni residents will be allowed to interact with the president on service delivery challenges, plans for service delivery improvements, and community development in their respective areas.

Amid the basic services delivery challenges such as access to clean water and electricity, dilapidated roads, poverty and unemployment, and limited healthcare facilities challenges faced by residents hope will be addressed.

The 12th DDM Presidential Imbizo will take place at the SY Mthimunye Stadium in Lynnville on Thursday, March 7.

IF YOU COULD ASK THE PRESIDENT ONE QUESTION, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
