Calling all singers, dancers, actors, and models – make eMalahleni proud

To be part of this exciting project, pop in at Highveld Mall on Sunday, March 17 at 09:00 to register for this competition.

There is no doubt that eMalahleni has got talent.

This was proved thrice when singers from eMalahleni won Idols. Musa Sukwene walked away with the title in 2013, Zama Khumalo took it in 2020 and Thabo Ndlovu bagged it in 2023.

Here is some good news for artists; an upcoming talent scout event is taking off in eMalahleni this coming weekend in preparation for the Lowvelder Got Talent competition.

This talent show is an initiative in association with local media, the private sector, performing arts institutions as well as coaching and mentoring facilitators.

This platform creates opportunities of exposure and development opportunities for inspiring singers, dancers, actors, and models.

Aspiring performers of ages five to 19 are encouraged to participate. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a coaching and development programme before the grand finale, which the date will be published in a subsequent article in WITBANK NEWS.

This programme is a springboard that develops opportunities boasting some amazing even life-changing local and international success stories.

Lowvelder Got Talent aims to uplift and develop local talent.

Organisers are urging community members to spread the word and encourage talented individuals to take part.

The event promises not only exposure but also potential opportunities for selected participants to further their careers in the entertainment industry.

Previous winners of Lowvelder Got Talent, such as Michelle Olckers, Lee-Ann Kholwane, and Gabriella de Aveiro, have achieved international acclaim, while numerous others have had doors of opportunity opened for them locally. This serves as a testament to the possibilities available for those who participate.

Whether it’s singing, dancing, acting, or modeling, the stage is set for eMalahleni’s talents to shine.
