Volunteers from a local church spread the love at Immergroen Old Age Home

Immergroen reaches its 120-year mark.

The elderly people from Immergroen Old Age Home were recently visited by volunteers from New Life Church (NLC).

During the wholesome visit on Saturday, March 9, volunteers shared words of wisdom and prayer with the elderly, whilst the young spoiled them with Easter eggs and biscuits.
Tammy de Oliveira from NLC shared that Immergroen is one of the non-profit organisations (NPO’s) that meets the needs of many elders in eMalahleni.

“The home is celebrating its 120th year and is home to 90 elderly persons. They are in desperate need of support from our community, and the elderly love spending time with visitors,” Tammy expressed.
