Man killed allegedly by mob; suspects sought by police

Police plead for community assistance in solving the brutal murder near Overline's railway line.

A disturbing discovery in the railway line near Overline has left the community reeling after the body of an unidentified man, bearing signs of severe assault, was found.

The body was discovered by vigilant security officers patrolling the area on Wednesday, March 20.

Authorities were alerted upon their arrival.

The victim, already in an advanced state of decomposition, bore signs of severe assault and had been partially dismantled, allegedly by a passing train.

The station commander of Vosman, Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu, issued a stern warning to the community, urging them to seek peaceful resolution to disputes and refrain from resorting to violence.

The police asked that anyone with information come forward as they launched a murder investigation.
