Body on a dead woman discovered by locals in Clewer

The woman has not yet been identified by locals from the area.

In Clewer, a half-naked and abandoned body of an unknown woman was found in a bush.

According to eyewitnesses, the body was found by a man who was walking in the area at around noon today (April 4).

Local ward councillor Anna Mtshweni informed WITBANK NEWS that as soon as she was made aware of an incident that she described as ‘horrific’ she phoned the police.

“We plead that anyone who has information to come forth and assist the police with their investigation,” Clr Mtshweni informed.

 

All role players are present at the scene attending to the matter.
