Pedestrian killed by a truck in Clewer

A pedestrian tragically lost his life today in Clewer after being struck by a truck.

In a tragic incident on Thursday, September 7 a man was killed after being hit by a truck in Clewer (near the hall).

The incident occurred around 11:00.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck by a passing truck while crossing the road.

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the location, but upon arrival, they declared the victim dead on the scene.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.

Residents have expressed their condolences to the victim’s family and are calling for increased road safety measures in the area.
