It is hard to raise a child when you are still a child

"Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these learners".

Rata Social Services recently took proactive steps to address crucial topics of pregnancy prevention and self-esteem among Grade 7 learners at Mogalithwa Primary School.
During the visit on Wednesday, April 10, representatives from Rata engaged the learners in interactive discussions.

A representative from Rata, Thembi Xaba, said, “By addressing topics like pregnancy prevention and self-esteem in schools, we aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate challenges and make positive choices for their futures.”

However, Rata had hoped to provide additional support beyond words by distributing sanitary pads to the learners.

“We understand the importance of access to menstrual hygiene products for young girls,” she said.

“If anyone is willing to contribute and help us provide sanitary pads to these students, please contact us at 079 701 9650. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these learners,” she concluded.
