Emalahleni refuse truck driver missing after hijacking

A search has been launched for a refuse truck driver that was hijacked this afternoon.

According to information the truck was hijacked on the Paxton-road close to the dumping site.

Captain Eddie Hall, police spokesperson said two employees were in the truck when the incident happened.

The man jumped out and sought help at the correctional services.

The driver, who is a woman, is still missing.
