Kragbron enjoys two days of colourful and fun festivities

It was a fun-filled weekend for learners and parents.

Learners from Laerskool Kragbron were covered in paint dust and filled with excitement over their annual two-day festival.

The learners had a variety of activities that they participated in including go-karting, mud bath, colour run, and water sprinkles.

“The festival kicked off with a dress-up for each grade respectively. Anything but a schoolbag, funky shoes, funny hair, and funny faces. On Friday, we started the day with a go-kart race with a twist,” the post read.

On Friday, May 31, the schools also showcased Mr and Miss Junior and Senior Kragbron as well as Mr Muscle, “The evening we had a fun movie night for the parents with soup and sherry, and with an auction”.

 

Saturday morning, June 1 kicked off with the Pumaki rugby and mini-netball day, with the neighbouring schools honouring the invite and showing up in numbers.

 

“The day ended with several famous singers including Karlien van Jaarsveld, Dodo, Mari-Louise van Wyk, and others. Thank you to all the visiting schools and the community who joined in the Kragbron Festival. A huge thank you to our sponsors,” the post ended.
