Former Kopanang students give back

Kopanang alumni give back to current students

In a heart-warming display of alumni loyalty, the class of 1998 returned to their beloved alma mater, Kopanang School, to give back to the next generation.

Marking their 25-year reunion, this dedicated group joined forces with a business partner to make a lasting impact.

On Friday, October 11, their generous donation included essential toiletries and sponsorship for the school’s upcoming October camp.

But more than that, they shared invaluable wisdom and encouragement with current students, inspiring them to reach for their dreams.

“The class of 1998 from Kopanang took time out to celebrate more than 25 years since leaving school and to give back. Current students were supported with much-needed self-care hampers that were donated. The reunion was a resounding success, with former classmates reigniting and forging new memories,” said Vusi Silawu, a former student at Kopanang.

Past students returned to pay tribute to the institution that shaped their futures, and the current students responded with heartfelt songs of praise and gratitude.

This reunion demonstrated that the bond between Kopanang School and its alumni remains strong, fostering a legacy of giving back and uplifting future generations.
