Emalahleni Masters Football League recently hosted an award ceremony following another successful football season.

The awards saw players, coaches, chairmen, and supporters wind down to delicious cuisines, refreshments, and good music at Witbank Recreation Resort on Saturday, November 16.

During the ceremony, Maveli Masters FC was crowned champions of the Emalahleni Masters Football League.

Chairman of the champions Vincent Sithole said he is ecstatic about winning the league this season.

“My team worked hard as it was not an easy road. My only wish is that they continue to grow and show the same immense determination so that we can also win next year’s league,” Vincent wished.

Codius Siwempi was crowned Top Goal Scorer of the Season.

Oupa Mahlangu scooped Defender of the Season.

Themba Tebane was awarded Player’s Player of the Season.

Mfanimpela Nkabinde was awarded Goalkeeper of the Season.

Emalahleni Masters Football is a social league that consists of 12 teams based in and around eMalahleni.
