Zandile returns home after mysterious disappearance

Zandile found at Mozambique border after disappearing for days.

A worrying saga came to a relieved end when Zandile Mazibuko (29), who went missing, was found safe and sound at the border gates leading to Mozambique.

According to reports, Zandile had travelled to Burgersfort in Limpopo for traditional healing and training. However, her family’s concern grew when she mysteriously vanished after doing laundry in the afternoon.

A search effort was launched; with reports emerging that Zandile may have been spotted in Carolina, Mpumalanga.

But it was at the border gate to Mozambique where she was finally found on February 22.

In a statement, Zandile’s sister, Babongile expressed her family’s gratitude and relief at her safe return home, “We thank WITBANK NEWS for being of assistance to help find my sister.”
