Man accused of child rape in court today
The streets in front of the Witbank Magistrate Court are going to be busy today as activists are up in arms about these horrendous crimes.
A 39-year-old man accused of being a serial rapist is set to appear in the Witbank Magistrate Court today.
The suspect, allegedly linked to multiple cases involving minors, previously forfeited his bail application and has been remanded in custody since his appearance on February 3.
According to police reports the victims are between seven years and 13 years.
The alleged crimes took place over a year between 2023 and 2024.
The court has indicated that these cases will be combined into one.

Additionally, the suspect is facing a pending case of assault and rape at the eMalahleni Regional Court.
