Riding for redemption

Bikers ride with faith to break walls of violence and darkness in eMalahleni.

A powerful tradition takes place in eMalahleni as bikers unite with a shared purpose and unshakable faith.

These men and women come together to plant crosses and offer heartfelt prayers against the forces of darkness in their community.

On March 30, the Jericho Ride took place and by planting the crosses at each intersection entering eMalahleni, it serves as an act of defiance against the challenges and evil that threaten to overshadow hope, peace, and unity.

Each cross stands as a beacon – a physical reminder of the strength that comes when people come together with unwavering faith.

Each biker carried a wooden cross with a message from Joshua 6 that represents the Jericho walls that break down as the people pray against all evil.

Fonnie Dreyer, Beula Dreyer, Leon Wandrag, Dalien Wandrag, Justin Gunter, Trevor Dreyer, and Bernadine Dreyer.

They prayed that the walls of rape, murder, fraud, theft, corruption, immorality, abuse, and witchcraft will be broken down in the City of Coal.

They prayed for the safety of their community, for those facing hardships, and against the negative forces that try to take root in their lives.
